We followed Jessica throughout her process of choosing gowns,

finding jewels, and working closely with the celebrities themselves

to get a sense of what it takes to create a winning look for the Academy Awards…

Just 24 hours before the ceremony,

Jessica has an appointment with singer Coco Lee,

who will be performing on stage in the big night.

Equally important is the hair and makeup.

Coco is trying out her Oscar look with makeup artist Bobbi Brown,

who’s been through the awards process before.

Well, you always talk about what the look that they want.

You look at the dress, and then you just play and you practice.

But it’s not about what I think. It’s about what she thinks.

While Jessica helps Coco try out this possible Oscar look,

Coco is still weighing her options.

This is gorgeous.

So hopefully I will wear this or something even better.

Most of the drop-offs we did last night.

We’re doing a final, final fitting with Coco Lee this morning.

It’s 3 p.m., and on the red carpet of the Shrine Auditorium,
